Eric Skae is a natural leader with a passion for propelling organizations to success, an aptitude which has been the hallmark of his career.


As CEO of Rao's Specialty Foods, Inc., Eric set a strategic results-driven direction for the brand that focuses on utilizing data while continuing to nurture relationships in the industry. Eric has effectively streamlined and restructured departments within Rao’s and recruited top-performers in finance, sales, operations and logistics. As a strategic manager, Eric has been able to identify, hire and retain key players. The brand has implemented sales strategies working with industry specific data, resulting in a dramatic increase of top line growth. Additionally, Eric and his team created and executed an overall marketing strategy to grow different demographics while maintaining brand heritage.


Prior to his role at Rao's Specialty Foods, Inc., Eric was Founder and Managing Partner of The Bricktown Group, a change management consulting firm providing Strategy, Finance, Sales & Marketing, and Operations support to clients in the food, beverage and nutraceutical industries. 


Prior to establishing The Bricktown Group, Eric held a number of senior management positions in the food, beverage, and nutraceutical industries. Key highlights of his career include:


§  Chief Executive Officer Rao's Specialty Foods, Inc. – Eric set a strategic results-driven direction for the brand that focuses on utilizing data while continuing to nurture relationships in the industry.


§  Chairman and Chief Executive OfficerNew Leaf Brands, Inc. – Eric founded and grew this specialty iced tea company expanding product reach to 135 distributors in 37 states.


§  Owner and Managing PartnerIceland Springs – Eric created the pH category, growing the Iceland Spring brand to the #2 imported water in the natural foods channel.


§  President and General ManagerFresh Solutions, Inc. – Eric galvanized sales of Naked Juice and Ziegler’s, and played a pivotal role in North Castle Partners roll up of 9 juice brands.


§  Director of SalesFresh Samantha, Inc. – Eric created a Sales & Marketing culture in this privately-held natural juice company, having a big impact on sales growing from $5MM to $43MM in 3 years.


§  Vice President of National AccountsHansen Beverage Company (Now Monster Beverages) – Eric managed all aspects of this organization’s North American national accounts, including 7-11, Publix, Walgreens and Costco.


Eric is a graduate of Northwood University in Florida, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
